Best Cali Burrito in Columbus

I used to live in southern California. I enjoyed time at the beach and of course, the delicious food that Cali had to offer. Most of all, the California Burrito.

Senior Pancho in Oceanside, California was the best! Their Cali Burrito was stuffed full of carne asada, french fries, sour cream and cheese. Add some salsa verde on top and it was AMAZING!

Since moving back to Columbus, I’ve been on the hunt for the next best thing, just 2,000 miles away.

Andddd I FOUNT IT!

Introducing, Victor’s Taco Shop.

This Ohio-based, family-owned, “Tex-Mex” chain has grown since their opening in 2015 to 13 locations across Ohio.

With three locations in the Columbus Metropolitan area, Delaware at 186 S Sandusky St. Delaware, OH 43015, Powell at 3450 O Connell StPowell, OH 43065 and Columbus at 2110 Morse Rd Columbus, OH 43229.

The Delaware and Columbus location is drive thru and walk up only, with a small, two seated table in front of the building. Not very friendly for family eating, so we usually take it home to eat or if we simply can’t wait, the car it is.

The Powell location does have a walk-in dinning space to sit at. Little bit easier with kiddos.

The California burrito is full of steak, french fries, sour cream, cheese, and pico de gallo. Basically, delicious-ness in a flour tortilla.

They have a burrito called the Arizona with steak, potatoes, cheese & fresh pico de gallo salsa- equally as delicious as the California burrito.

If you have some family members (or don’t want to give a little one a messy burrito to eat, which I understand) then they have plenty of choices.

They have a huge selection of items on their menu, including tortas, enchiladas, street tacos, quesadillas, breakfast items, and nachos.

My husband loves the quesabirria tacos. He pretty much gets them every time.

Don’t forget the salsa verde and if you like to kick up the spice, the red salsa is great!

Come hungry! The portion sizes are generous.
